The Perfect Location

Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to practically everything that matters. The Singapore Art Museum is right across the street, and you’re maybe five minutes from Raffles Hotel if you want to grab a Singapore Sling at the source. Clarke Quay and the Singapore River are close enough for an evening stroll, and getting to Orchard Road takes no time at all. I mean, couples rate this location 9.7 out of 10, and after spending a few days here, I totally get why. You’re not stuck in some business district where everything shuts down at 6 PM — this area actually has life to it.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was on the 15th floor, and the first thing that hit me was how quiet it was despite being in the city center. These beds are seriously something special — I’m usually a light sleeper, but I slept like I was in a coma (in the best way possible). The marble bathroom feels almost too nice to use, with this deep soaking tub that actually fits a normal-sized human being. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains, outlets where you need them, and a minibar that doesn’t require a small loan to enjoy.

Dining and Amenities

The breakfast buffet is where this place really shows off. I’m talking about everything from fresh tropical fruits to made-to-order eggs Benedict, plus enough Asian options to keep you exploring for days. The restaurant downstairs serves solid international cuisine, though honestly, with Singapore’s incredible food scene right outside your door, you might find yourself eating out more often than not. There’s parking available if you’re brave enough to drive in Singapore, and the spa is perfect for recovering from all that walking around the city.

What strikes me most about Fairmont Singapore is how many people come back — there are way more repeat guests here than at most hotels, and that tells you something.   Location is 10/10, downstairs of the hotel is direct entrance to the Raffles City mall and food court with lots of options. The buffet style breakfast at the Fairmont (Prego) also very delicious and tons of food options. Hotel rooms are very nice and staff is friendly! Hotel also smells realllyyy nice
