  I booked a premium room but was placed in a room at the far end with a city view. I called the reception to change room because it was too far from the lift and i have knee pain. They moved me to another room but the new one had no view and faced a wall. I felt disappointed because we were expecting a best hotel experience on our vacation.
  Later, a Malay girl named Ros (if i am not mistaken) brought us complimentary drinks, I told her about the room issue, and she was very understanding. She spoke to the higher level and eventually we were moved and upgraded to a club room with a nice view.
  I would like to thank her for her empathy, and i believe the management should have more like employee like her.

  This is the 3rd time staying with ParkRoyal on Beach Road. Things are getting more and more expensive. For the same rate, we could stay for Club Deluxe last time. We were here to stay on superior room, cocktail was provided that time. This time round there's no such perks. Nevertheless, the staff were very friendly. Room is good and clean.
  
  Breakfast was fair. Though I thought last time we had more variety. The omelets auntie wasn't that nice. The "Taiwan style" signature were little misunderstanding where we wasn't sure if that's available to order or was it just there as a props.
  
  Overall, the room is huge and comfortable. Maybe will try other ParkRoyal next time.
