lyf Farrer Park Singapore Overview
First Impressions
Walking into lyf Farrer Park Singapore, you immediately get that this isn’t your typical four-star hotel — it’s something more modern and, honestly, a bit cooler than I expected. The lobby has this sleek, minimalist vibe that feels more like a trendy co-working space than a traditional hotel, which makes sense once you realize this is part of the lyf brand that caters to longer-stay travelers and digital nomads. There’s an energy here that’s hard to pin down, maybe because you’ve got business travelers mixing with couples on weekend getaways, all drawn to this spot in Lavender that’s become quite the hidden gem.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re in Lavender, which means you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in tourist crowds. Farrer Park MRT station is literally a few minutes’ walk away, so getting to Orchard Road or Marina Bay takes no time at all. But you know what’s really great? The neighborhood itself has this authentic Singapore feel that a lot of hotels in more central areas have lost. There are local coffee shops, traditional shophouses, and some fantastic hawker centers within walking distance. I mean, couples rate this place highly for good reason — it’s got that perfect balance of accessibility and local charm that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing Singapore, not just visiting it.
The Room Experience
The rooms here are smart — and I don’t just mean the tech (though there’s plenty of that). They’ve designed these spaces for people who might be staying longer, so you get a proper workspace, decent storage, and a kitchenette that’s actually functional. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are modern with good water pressure, and there’s this attention to detail that shows they understand what travelers actually need. What struck me most was how the rooms feel more like a well-designed apartment than a hotel room, which works whether you’re here for three days or three weeks.
Social Spaces & Amenities
This is where lyf Farrer Park Singapore really shines — the common areas are designed for people to actually use them. There’s a rooftop area that’s perfect for evening drinks, co-working spaces that don’t feel forced or corporate, and a gym that’s better equipped than most hotel fitness centers. The laundry facilities are clean and efficient (trust me, this matters more than you think), and there’s even a social kitchen where you can cook if you want to. It’s like they’ve thought about all the little things that make a stay more comfortable, especially if you’re traveling as a couple and want options beyond just eating out every meal.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this four-star property is how it manages to feel both professional and personal at the same time. The staff genuinely seem to care about making your stay work for you, whether that means restaurant recommendations or helping with longer-term needs. The location consistently gets top ratings because it delivers on that promise of being well-connected without being touristy. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something special in Singapore — close enough to everything that matters, but with its own distinct character that you won’t find in the more obvious hotel choices.
Best hotels in Singapore blend infinity pools, Michelin-star tasting menus, and skyline suites.

Reviews of lyf Farrer Park Singapore
Excellent concept hotel in the atmosphere of the Indian culture – Slanty from Japan (9/10)
Excellent concept. This hotel is an advanced service apartment that provides more sharing facilities (meeting spaces, kitchen, etc.) than the ordinary hotels. In order to reduce the cost, daily services and amenities in the rooms are minimized. Sometimes it makes difficulty but totally it is reasonable for me. All staff are nice and kind. The location is the best for me to feel the atmosphere of the Indian culture.

Clean and Efficient but LYF Concept ends up feeling like student accommodation for travellers – Mischa from Hong Kong (7/10)
High quality finish in the room. Close to MRT.
Ideal location, clean and safe. – Shirley from Seychelles (9/10)
The location was ideal as MRT Station "Farrer Park" was about 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. There were nearby mall such as Square Mall which was a stone throw away; or about 10 minutes by train to Vivo Mall, also shops at walking distance. At the malls there are restaurants, cafes and eating areas convenient if travelling with families and kids. You can opt for taxi if you wish. The staff were really nice and very helpful.
Very Good – Vittoria from Fiji (8/10)
The staff is very friendly and efficient. The studio is small but the space is very well organised, so you don't feel uncomfortable like in other hotels in Singapore. It also has some great common areas, like a coworking space, cafe, garden and gym, so if you need to work or want some more space, you can use those areas. It also has laundry facilities.
The hotel was thoughtfully designed to make the experience enjoyable despite the space constraints.
Among the benefits there are some discounts in restaurants nearby and some workshop and tours.staycation – Juliet from Singapore (8/10)
