There’s something about the neighborhood that feels more authentic Singapore — you know, actual locals going about their day rather than just endless shopping malls.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out without any unnecessary frills. The air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in Singapore’s humidity), and the bed was genuinely comfortable. I mean, after walking around the city all day, that’s really what matters most. The bathroom was modern enough, though nothing that’ll blow you away. What I did appreciate was how quiet everything was, especially considering you’re on a fairly busy road.

Breakfast & Dining

The breakfast spread here is actually quite decent — they do Continental, American, and buffet options, so there’s something for everyone. I’m usually pretty picky about hotel breakfasts, but this one had enough variety to keep me happy for a week-long stay. The restaurant area gets busy around 8 AM, so if you’re an early riser like me, you’ll have the place mostly to yourself. The coffee’s solid, and they actually have some local options mixed in with the standard international fare.

  I have stayed about 3 times. Love the location, so convenient to the MRT. The rooms need refurbishing. It's starting to look dated and tired. Some of my family group had to change rooms, due to spiders.
