  Our stay at the Carlton Hotel was enjoyable, thanks to its fantastic location, just a stone’s throw away from several MRT stations, making it very easy to get around the city. The rooms are simple but offer a great view of the town, which we loved. The check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, though we did have a minor issue, which I’ll mention below.
