The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star place — clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given how central everything is. What struck me was the attention to practical details — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and a bathroom that’s functional without being fancy. The buffet breakfast here is honestly better than I expected. Nothing too elaborate, but they cover all the bases with both Western and Asian options — you’ll find everything from congee to toast, fresh fruit, and decent coffee. I appreciated that they didn’t try to do too much and end up doing it poorly. Oh, and here’s something that’ll save you hassle — they have private parking right at the hotel, which is actually a big deal in Singapore where parking can be a real headache.

After staying here, I get why this place consistently draws people back. It’s not trying to be the fanciest hotel in Singapore, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you an unbeatable location. You’re walking distance from Orchard Road shopping, the arts district, and some of the city’s best hawker centers.   Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is spotless. Room had a nice view, and it's just across the road from Fort Canning. Beds were comfortable too! We loved it and will look no further when we come back to Singapore. We booked the breakfast too upon arrival and made a mistake with our departure time (we had to leave too early to be able to have breakfast). They made a takeaway breakfast for us instead. Very much appreciated! Thank you! We had a very pleasant stay! 🙂
