The rooms here are what I’d call “smart small” — they’ve clearly thought about how to make every square meter work for you. My room had this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile, and honestly, the bed was way more comfortable than I expected. The air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in Singapore, obviously), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your stuff properly. You know what impressed me? The little details, like having enough power outlets where you actually need them. Each room is thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality.

Getting Around & Practicalities

This is where the hotel really shines — you’re positioned perfectly for exploring Singapore without constantly battling crowds or long commutes. Chinatown’s about a 10-minute walk, Little India is easily reachable, and if you want to hit Orchard Road for shopping, it’s a quick MRT ride. The staff actually knows the area well too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They’ll give you proper directions, not just point vaguely down the street. Parking options are available for guests with vehicles.

Look, this isn’t a place where you’ll spend hours lounging by a pool or getting pampered at a spa — but that’s not why you come to Singapore anyway.   The rooms is comfortable and feels cozy. Rooms are small but not tiny – I find it quite comfortable and always clean. I sleep very very well at VH. The desk is quite ample for working and I can focus because it’s also not too noisy. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly A++. The cleaning staff are helpful and I’m impressed by their attentiveness. Who doesn’t love little fish crackers and free Oreos daily ;+). Thank to the staff !!
