This five-star hotel on Robinson Road doesn’t do subtle, with its bold art installations and design choices that make you stop and actually look around instead of just rushing to the elevator. The lobby alone is worth a few Instagram shots, though honestly, the whole place has this theatrical quality that somehow works perfectly in Singapore’s financial district.

Location & Neighborhood

You’re right in the heart of Marina Bay here, which means you can walk to pretty much everything that matters. I mean, Clarke Quay is literally a few minutes away, and you can see Marina Bay Sands from some rooms — couples absolutely love this spot, and I get why. The MRT connections are solid too, so getting around the city is actually painless. What I really appreciate is how you’re close enough to all the action but tucked away on Robinson Road, so it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping in the middle of a tourist circus.

The Rooms

The rooms continue that whole “we’re not like other hotels” vibe, with quirky design touches that could either charm you or make you scratch your head — depends on your taste, really. The beds are genuinely comfortable though, and the bathrooms have this luxury feel without being over-the-top fancy. What struck me most was the attention to small details, like the lighting that actually works for reading (you’d be surprised how many hotels mess this up) and blackout curtains that do their job properly.

Dining Experience

Breakfast here covers all the bases — they do a proper full English if that’s your thing, plus solid Asian options that feel authentic rather than hotel-generic. The restaurant space itself has character, which makes morning meals feel less like a hotel obligation and more like, well, an actual dining experience. I found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, partly because the atmosphere encourages it and partly because stepping outside means dealing with Singapore’s humidity.

  We loved the staff from front desk to the concierge, they were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and well kept. I really liked the integrated automated lights and curtain opening via the Ipad. Pool was also ver nice but limited sunbeds.
