The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from Novotel — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything actually works properly. The air conditioning is powerful (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in Singapore’s humidity), and the bathroom is spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything. What I really appreciated was the blackout curtains — they actually block out light, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many hotels mess this up. The wifi is solid throughout, and there are plenty of outlets for all your devices.

The breakfast buffet here is honestly better than it needs to be.   The reception staff were very professional in trying to accommodate our twin-bed request when there was no availability on the day. An additional comfortable bed was installed in the room without hassle. The room was quiet, and the hotel was conveniently located with the Farrer Park station nearby, enabling quick access to other areas of the city. The breakfast buffet was enormous and catered for the substantial Indian clientele but there was a reasonable range of other food as well. Good coffee was a real bonus!!
