The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was on the higher floors, and the views over the Singapore River were honestly spectacular, especially at sunset. What really stood out though were the beds — and I’m usually pretty picky about this stuff. They’ve clearly invested in quality mattresses and linens, because I slept better here than I have in most five-star hotels. The bathrooms are spacious with those rainfall showers that actually have good water pressure, plus there’s plenty of counter space for all your stuff.

Dining and Amenities

The breakfast setup is quite impressive — they do both continental and buffet options, and the quality is definitely above average for hotel dining. I particularly liked that they include local dishes alongside the international fare, so you can ease into Singaporean cuisine if you’re not familiar with it. The restaurant spaces feel sophisticated but not stuffy, and the service throughout the hotel maintains that polished Marriott standard you’d expect. There’s also parking available on-site, which is actually a bigger deal than you might think in this part of the city.

  Excellent staff and lovely facilities. It was my daughter’s 18th birthday and they had balloons, a cake and card in the room on arrival. Buffet breakfast is exceptional. Location can’t be beat!
